Supercomm Expands to Georgia Dome

Will add more than 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space by expanding into the Georgia Dome

ARLINGTON, Va. — SUPERCOMM 2001, being held June 3-7 in Atlanta, will add more than 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space by expanding into the Georgia Dome, event organizers today announced. Total exhibit space for the event, including the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Dome, is expected to reach more than 550,000 net square feet. SUPERCOMM is the premier annual communications and information technology exhibition and conference.

“Explosive global growth of the industry is mirrored in the continued demand for more exhibit space at SUPERCOMM,” said Jack Chalden, SUPERCOMM general manager. “This expansion into the Dome provides an instant response to our customers’ needs, and is an effective bridge to the 2002 show, when an additional hall will be available in the Congress Center.” The Dome expansion also coincides with a more than 26 percent growth in attendees at the 2000 event.

SUPERCOMM 2001 will feature nearly 800 companies from every sector of the communications technology industry. More than 75 emerging and dynamic companies will exhibit in the Georgia Dome.Registration and Housing for SUPERCOMM 2001 opens on January 17.
