Global Crossing Scores $700M Deal

HAMILTON, Bermuda -- Global Crossing Ltd. (NYSE: GX)announced today that it has been chosen by Computer Sciences Corporation(NYSE: CSC) to manage and provide telecommunication services for CSC’sglobal wide area data and voice network in a twelve-year contract valued at$700 million.Global Crossing's fiber optic infrastructure, range of advanced InternetProtocol (IP) services, and proven outsourcing expertise will be leveragedby CSC to upgrade and manage its corporate wide area network. The agreementmakes Global Crossing one of the preferred providers of networking servicesfor CSC and its customers.The agreement with Global Crossing expands CSC’s network reach, supportingits competitive positioning as a global information technology (IT) serviceand outsourcing solutions leader.
