AZUSA, Calif. -- Archcom Technology is pleased to announce series of active component products in several key market areas including 2.5, 4.25 and 10 Gbps TOSAs and ROSAs, FTTx lasers and PDs, 980nm pump lasers, and 40 Gbps Receivers. Archcom’s line of high performance 10 Gbps TOSAs and ROSAs are geared for use in transceivers including XFP, XENPAK, XPAK and X2 for 10GbE and OC-192 applications. The 10 Gbps 1310 nm FP TOSA offers excellent performance from -40°C to +85°C and is ideal for the emerging LRM application. The 10 Gbps ROSAs are offered in both single mode (SM) and multi-mode (MM) versions with metal fiber stub or low cost plastic receptacles and XMD compatible flex circuit RF feed-throughs.

The SM-ROSA at 850 nm, 1310 nm and 1550 nm offer best in class performance and pass the 10GbE stressed eye requirements. The MM-ROSA utilizes a proprietary photodiode and a TIA with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) for excellent linearity that specifically targets the LRM application. Archcom’s 2.5 Gbps and 4.25 Gbps laser and receiver products are vertically integrated from our in-house laser and PD chips into TO-cans and TOSA and ROSA packages. These products include 1310 nm and 1550 nm FP and DFB lasers operating over -40°C to +85°C, CWDM lasers in the 1310 nm and 1550 nm bands, and reflection resistant DFB laser TO-can modules. The 4.25 Gbps 1310 nm FP TOSA delivers excellent performance for Fibre Channel transmission up to 10km over -40°C to +85°C.
