Bridgewater Names EMEA Sales MD

OTTAWA -- Bridgewater Systems (TSX:BWC) today announced the appointment of Ihsen Fekih as managing director of sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based in London, UK, Ihsen will lead Bridgewater’s direct sales and services activities in EMEA, working closely with established sales channel partners including Motorola, Alvarion and Nortel.

Ihsen brings extensive global markets experience, with seventeen years in senior sales and business development leadership positions in the telecoms industry, including significant experience in successful sales engagements with tier-1 service provider accounts in Europe, Middle East, and developing markets in the EMEA region. Ihsen joins Bridgewater from Brix Networks where she was head of EMEA sales, tasked with penetrating tier-1 operator accounts and creating new business opportunities while raising the company’s overall visibility. She also held a series of senior positions at a number of telecommunication companies including Incatel, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and France Telecom.
