SAN JOSE, Calif. -- High Bandwidth Access, Inc. (HBA), developer of the most advanced FIFO queuing devices for high capacity broadband networks, today introduced the FlexQ™ product family featuring the industry's highest bandwidth capability for 3.3V broadband communications systems. At the unprecedented bandwidth for up to 12Gbps capability, and featuring industry-leading densities up to 4 Mbits, FlexQ FIFO queue presents an ideal solution for bandwidth-intensive applications in the communications equipment market.Based on an innovative architecture and ASIC approach, HBA's FlexQ family is a direct socket replacement/improvement for current communications FIFO queuing devices. These 3.3V products operate at the industry's fastest rate (166 MHz), enabling applications to achieve 10 Gbps rates for OC-192 optical networking elastic buffering applications. Available in densities from 512 bits to an industry-leading 4 Mbits -- in x9, x18, x36, x72 configurations--the FlexQ family offers retransmit, bus matching, rate matching and endian select features. "Our family of FIFO queuing devices pushes the envelope for speed, density and performance," said Der-Kant Cheng, President and CEO of HBA. "HBA is on the forefront of developing new technologies for faster and more intelligent management of data in traffic in next generation communications and networking products. Our close working relationship with customers and partners means tighter system-level integration, customized solutions and faster time-to-market."High Bandwidth Access Inc.
