MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- TM Forum announced today the addition of seven major enterprises from a variety of verticals to its Enterprise Cloud Leadership Council (ECLC). As industry-leading innovators, these companies join ECLC to help create a path forward for aggressive use of cloud services, while realizing the promises of financial gains and business flexibility.

In addition, the TM Forum today announced the release of their new “Enterprise-Grade External Compute IaaS Requirements” document. Produced by the Forum’s Enterprise Cloud Leadership Council (ECLC), this set of clearly-defined business and technical requirements for external private cloud services puts a stake in the ground for how business and technical agreements between enterprise customers and cloud service providers should be defined and managed.

The new members include: Boeing, Defense Information Services Agency (DISA) of the US Department of Defense, Dassault Systems, ING, McCann Worldgroup, Northrop-Grumman and State Street Financial.
