HANOVER, Germany -- Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT - News) and 3, the UK's first video mobile network, today announced the latest 3G clamshell to join the 3 range, the V975. This video mobile makes the most of 3's multi-media services from video messaging and video-calling to watching the latest full-length music videos and goals from the Barclays Premiership.

The Motorola V975 - compact clam

The new Motorola V975 clamshell offers quick and easy video streaming, capture and download. It has a large, internal and external colour display -- ideal for watching the latest Natasha Bedingfield video exclusively premiered on 3 or playing the latest games on 3.

A great all-round phone, the V975 offers an integrated MP3 player to make downloading and streaming your favourite music videos easier than ever, a VGA digital camera with 4x zoom for instant picture-taking, 2-way video calling to keep you connected and entertained, 16MB of built-in memory and up to 256MB extendable memory via a Transflash card for games and song storage, all at great value.

"We are delighted to be able to extend our portfolio with 3, by introducing the Motorola V975," said Greg Estell, Vice President and General Manager of Motorola Mobile Devices, Europe. "We are bringing 3G to life with a portfolio that offers depth, breadth and choice to consumers, by leveraging the services and benefits that 3's multimedia network offers."

Gareth Jones, 3's COO commented: "3 is the fastest-growing mobile operator in the UK. By the end of 2004, over 2.5 million customers had joined the 3 network for its unrivalled value, products and services and leading handset portfolio. This latest Motorola clamshell should be another success for 3's partnership with Motorola."
