3 Hires Regulatory Director

LONDON -- 3, the UK's first video mobile network today announced that Tim Lord has been appointed Regulatory Director.

Tim, 39, will report to Bob Fuller, CEO and will be responsible for Regulatory, Government Affairs, Interconnect and Roaming activities for 3 in the UK. Tim brings a mix of regulatory and legal experience gained over the past 15 years. Prior to joining 3, Tim was Head of Regulatory Affairs at ITV, where he was responsible for ITV's relationship with the UK's broadcasting and telecommunications regulators and the European Commission.

Bob Fuller, 3 CEO said: "I'm very pleased to welcome Tim to 3. When the Government created the new entrant's licence for 3G, it was with the express intention of bringing more competition and choice to the UK mobile market. 3, as the first video mobile network in the UK is challenging the status quo and shaking up both the services offered and the prices charged to customers."
